NBA Game Review:Golden State Warriors Silence Toyota Center, takes the Houston Rockets to the cleaners 119-106.

Box Score

------- Q1 | Q2 | Q3 | Q4 | TOT
GSW 29 | 27 | 31 | 32 | 119
HOU 30 | 26 | 24 | 26 | 106

Durant drops 37 and snatches away Game 1 for the Warriors in the Rockets' very own backyard, with an emphatic 119-106 win.

Golden State put on display another clinic in their beloved 3rd quarter, outscoring the hosts 31-24. Apart from shooting 53% from the field, the stifling Warriors' defense also led to 3 24-second violations for the offensive roster the Rockets possess. Harden and Durant went face-to-face on each possession, eyeballing the other after every bucket. While KD finished with 37 to his name, The Beard ended the game with 41 points & 7 assists to his name.

Klay Thompson chipped in 28 points on a moderate 9-18 shooting night while Curry managed to contribute just 18. For the Rockets, Chris Paul notched a double-double with 23 points and 11 dimes to his name along with Eric Gordon's humble 15.

The Series stays at the Toyota Center, Houston for Game 2 before heading over to The Oracle for Games 3 & 4. Warriors would want to deflate the hosting crowd again in the coming game as they did in this one and take the fight to their backyard with a commanding 2-0 lead in their pockets.
