Lady Gaga Cancels Remainder of 'Joanne World Tour' Due to Severe Pain caused by Fibromyalgia (FB)

The 31-year-old entertainer took to her Instagram to reveal that she has been suffering from severe pain that has impacted her ability to perform live and has made the decision with her medical team to immediately halt touring.

“I’m so devastated I don’t know how to describe it. All I know is if I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music,” Gaga wrote.

She added, “My medical team is supporting the decision for me to recover at home. We’re canceling the last 10 shows of my Joanne World Tour. I love this show more than anything, and I love you, but this is beyond my control…I promise I will be back to your city, but for now, I need to put myself and my well-being first. I love you, forever.”

Our hearts go out to Queen Latifah, 48, as she is mourning the loss of her mother Rita Owens. After battling a chronic heart condition for many years, Rita died on Wednesday. “It is with a heavy heart that I share the news my mother, Rita Owens, passed away today. Anyone that has ever met her knows what a bright light while she was on this earth. She was gentle, but strong, sweet, but sassy, worldly but pragmatic, a woman of great faith and certainly the love of my life,” Queen said in a statement. Just a few days before her death, Latifah shared an Instagram video asking people to pray for her mother’s recovery. “Words can’t express on the gratitude that I feel for the love and well wishes from friends and family and all of you out there who just got love for the Queen!
